Lunch: Salmon belly steak & Sisig
Dinner: Salmon belly steak & Vegetables in oyster sauce (with pork bits)

My Dear loves salmon belly; I find it a bit too fatty (I prefer milkfish belly). The salmon steak turned out great and I think it’s because I used a generous amount of calamansi juice to counter the fattiness of the fish. The onions turned out great, too. As for the veggies, I put in the lettuce a bit too soon — it still turned out well, but next time I will put it in much later to retain its crispness.

Cooking is starting to become therapy for me; I feel relaxed and I like planning our menu for the day. I’m especially eager to cook (and prepare the ingredients for the dishes) now that we have our new knife
Next weekend, I’m thinking of making home-made spring rolls — hope it turns out well.
